copy to memory card

how would i copy a saved file (like halo 2) from my xbox hd to a memory card for transporting my profile?
while looking into this i couldn't even find a way to start a new profile (in halo 2) on the memory card....
could anyone help?

go to your harddisk, find the halo 2 saves, then select the file you want from the saves and press a, it should give you a copy option, and then select the memory card

plug in memory card
turn on xbox without game
copy halo2 save file to mem card
take mem card to 2nd xbox
play

What if my xbox doesn't have the copy option? I've been trying to copy something to a memory unit and the only option I have when I go into my saved games is "DELETE".

Any help?

you have to select the individual file, not the whole thing, when you get to the game, press right on the control stick and it should have more files

Thanks for the help on this. I figured it out earlier today and was coming on here to let everybody know how stupid I am :)
