View Full Version : MS sells off maker of Top Spin, Links, and Amped

It appears that Top Spin, Links, and Amped will no longer be Xbox exclusives as MS has sold the development studio behind those games.
While I understand the theory behind dumping Amped and Links (EA already has the powerhouse duo of SSX and Tiger Woods), I think that getting rid of Top Spin was a bad move as no other console had a tennis game that can compete. It was a nice little Xbox exclusive.
Take Two bought the games, so likely the sequels will still be on the Xbox, just no longer exclusives.

A little off topic, but I had no idea you existed except in the reviews department. :D

Rumors of my existence have been greatly exaggerated. :watchout:
I'm a quality over quantity poster. I'm at 7 posts in 2+ years. I spend roughly 4 months crafting the perfect message before posting. Now that I think about it you'd think there would be more quality at that rate!
Anyhow, it's time to start honing my next post due in 4 months. :)

It is ironic to catch you in the forums now, b/c I just looked at the top reviewers and you are #1. I was just about to make a thread if "this top reviewer named YellowLab" even posted in the forums

well, links was a nice game, but the whole XSN theme seemed to be a failure.

So am I to understand that my beloved Topspin can now be on PS2? This is truly depressing news.

As a golfer, I really enjoyed playing Links. Good competition online and fairly good graphics to boot.

Thats unfortunate, Top Spin was an excellent game. Probably the best tennis game to come out in a long, long time.

It's sickening! MS don't have to sell out just build a market damnit? You had me at hello.
