This should be in other console discussion but oh well. My favorite old school system in the SNES. All kinds of good/great games for that system. I remember playing Super Mario World and all the Donkey Kong games for hours with my dad.

You youngsters... geeze...

It's all about the Atari 2600. Combat was an awesome game! Space Invaders, Pac Man, Slot Racers, Adventure, Asteroids, Missle Command, Battlezone, Berserk..

It's all about the heritage of videogames.

I thought it was just me...NES/64, Sega/saturn/genesis are hardly old school...maybe middle school...
But i have to echo reclaimer and say the Atari VCS(before it was renamed the 2600)was blocky gamin at its best!!
yars revenge, defender, dragster, kaboom, stampede, frogger, and pitfall....
and then the atari 5200 came out and I was in gamer heaven with joust, popeye, pengo, pole position, and countermeasure...
honorable mention to the magnavox odyssey with parsec and quest for rings...

:hail: I was playing ATARI since I was old enough to remember (3-4)

But I have to say NES, Zelda is best game ever (crystalis, battletoads, ect)

You guys are talking about Atari and you don't even mention Warlords!? WTF is wrong with you guys!? :p

I didn't name Atari because I only played about 10-15 games for it. I don't think that can count.

Oh yes, Activision had a huge line up with the Atari 2600. Back in the day, that was quality gaming with the likes of River Raid, Chopper Command, Keystone Cops, Pitfall and the list goes on. Who can forget Adventure? Take your square and move it around the mazes, get the arrow that's suppose to be a sword and stab the seahorse looking thing that's suppose to be a dragon.
It was fun, and we were convinced that was the pinnacle of technology.
So many games, I can't even remember..
Then there was the coleco vision and the Intellivision, the Vetrix, the Magnavox Odysee. Even before that Sears had a console that had 50 different versions of Breakout. And shortly before that, there was the home version of Pong.
Atari held in there and put out 2 more consoles, like the 5200 and the 7800.

About that time, I had a Commodore 64. It's supposed to be a computer, but lets face it, all it could do was play games and not even that very well.

I did evolve, went with the Nintendo Entertainment System.. Mario, Super Mario, Duck Hunt, Spy Hunter, Zelda, Link, Contra - Super C.. pretty much all of Konami's line up.
Who can forget Mike Tyson's Punch Out?

We had a Sega Master System too. Afterburner, Space Harrier, Outrun, Shinobi, Thunderblade and others.
I know we had a Super Nintendo, but I only had a few games like Lethal Enforcer, Killer Instinct, Clay Fighters 2 Judgement Clay and Street Fighter 2.

Had a Sega Genesis, but I had even fewer games than that. Gain Ground, E-SWAT, Shinobi 2 and I have no clue if I had any games after that.

Moved on to the Playstation with Future Cop LAPD, Appocalyspe, Metal Gear, Test Drive, Driver, Time Crisis and a couple of others.

I gave my PS to my brother in law and I just skipped up the Xbox from then on.
I just recently bought a Dreamcast, but I only have a few games for it and I hardly play it.
