Thrash Your Base

The other night, I'm playing w/ a bunch of XBA peeps. We're on coagulation and I'm defending base w/ AlphaCigara.

It's a slow watch. Nothing much happening. Offense is weak. So I say, "Let's draw happy faces on the walls."

So, we do, w/ our SMG's tracing the walls.

Then I see it. Blood. I'm up against the wall, and unloading w/ dual SMG's, and blood is splattering everywhere.

I stop, thinking I'm wacking myself, and realize my shields are full tilt.

Needless to say, I told Alpha immediately and we commenced to 'scribbling' happy faces into our base's interior walls, and blasting directly into the walls w/ SMGs in order to leave a bloody, intimidating mess.

MixMasta knows what I'm talkin' 'bout...

i miss the GR days where it was so easy to write your names on stuff..

one time i was a sniper and i saw someone (i think masterweed) was writing something that starts with an H on a box on prisoner. i sniped some bullets and turned the H into a B to try to change it into Bit**. it was more like bitleh something before he realized wtf was up.

Shrew: next time you're playing a Big Team Battle, or any match where you can take a minute or two to 'F' off, unload w/ an SMG into the wall. Directly. Any wall. Dual SMGs work even better. But get up close to the wall.

You'll find that as you blast into the wall, you'll leave blood all over the place. You can 'decorate' your base/flag postition/etc. by doing this. And you won't lose any shields at all. You'll just splatter blood all over.

I was trying it with the battle rifle, and while it does work, i think it really hurts you when you do it. So yea, be careful with that battle rifle :p

And there is unfortunately a maximum number of bullet holes. If you go over, some stuff starts to disappear. I was perfecting the K in a nice 4 letter word when thrasher was going all splatter crazy. It ruined my perfect expletive :(

try it with a rocket launcher..it'll cover the whole room in the base red. :eek:

I was with Covenant and Spartan and suddenly one of them says 'this wall is bleeding!' so we shoot the wall from real close with the SMG, and it did! Though, it was more like covenant blood, since it was purple.

Yea, its sweet. Thrash we need to get some Elites in our base and make it blue and red, represent the USA against those damn Canadians!

I noticed this awhile ago. I dont know what my fascination with writing on walls with bullets. Maybe its boredom or short attention span...

I tried it and when I stepped back to examine my fine work of art, I saw in the blood splatters the image of the virgin mary. Should I be concerned?

This same thing was in Halo but it hurt your shield so you could kill yourself doing it.
