"I am now level 16, and the frequency of cheaters and exploiters at this point is much higher than the lower levels. What is a boy to do?"
my answer:
quit, or keep playing

How do you cheat and how is it recognized? Is this on the PC Halo2? I was hoping XBL would be free from this ****.

I think it's pretty safe to say that NOTHING is free from cheats.

No matter what, someone will waste their lives tying to get ahead of everyone else through cheating.

I agree, that's why I haven't played in about 2 weeks. Too many lagging cheaters. At high levels anyway.

Yea it is absolutely ridiculous how many people use the stand-by glitch in Team Skirmish. I am done playing that until Bungie actually does what they said they would. Yesterday the first two games I played the other team did that the entire match, it is just annoying because quitting takes more EXP away

i do get sick of cheating, but it can be reduced to a lot less.
if your all about the fun in the game instead of the stats play training.. no cheaters there..

But what really pisses me off is that probaly every kid has a standby button on their modems, i know for a fact Comcast rents out modems with the buttons on them, just about most motorola modem has one. I bet you have one  Bungie still hasnt done anything about this? They just sit there ruining more games, probaly thinking of new ways to edit the halo2 dvd.1!!?T#^%$%

I have a stand by button on my modem, but I never used it in Halo 2
theres no point, if you lose you lose (not the end of the world)
I haven't had an event where someone used that on me
what happens when someone does that? Does the game stop forever until they start their modem again?
Does a standby modem have standby written on it or can it just say power?? Im not sure if I have one.

Its a button usually on the top of your modem that says standby.
