Well, technically it's not a new "Morrowind" since 'Morrowind' is the subtitle for The Elder Scrolls III. They are making a new Elder Scrolls, 'Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion' which is looking very impressive visually... if they improve on the extremely lackluster combat system, it maybe the best RPG of all time. Search for the Oblivion thread on XBA, you'll find some nice screens of it.

You need to fix that poll up, its lacking seriously. There is KotOR and KotOR 1, then there is Jade Empire which isn't out, but if you add it you might add Elder Scrolls: Oblivion too or be more specific about the question.

Just Xbox games past, present and future or what? Elder Scrolls: Oblivion is an Xbox Next title though, but Jade Empire isn't even out so that leads us to speculation of future games.

Best of all time (that I've played) : easy, Fallout I and II. No question.

Best on the Xbox: Morrowind, followed not so closely by Kotor I and II.

Fable was more of an RPG lite. Felt more like an action/adventure game than a role-playing game. And w/ B.C. now cancelled (read the newest OXM), I truly hope Lionhead pulls it's head out of it's collective ass. I'd seriously love to sit down w/ Peter Molyneaux and teach him a few things about brutal, torturous pain.

I'm lovin the new kotor. Can't stop playing it. And the item creation is a cool new feature....if you have the skills you can create some wicked lightsaber upgrade parts.

I love any Final Fantasy game, that is the best series ever made.
If you love the FF series, play Lord of the Rings:The Third Age, it plays almost exactly like FF (especially FF X). Basically, the game if FF with a LOTR skin.

Anything by Bioware. KOTOR was good and so was too. I expect Jade Empire to top all of them. Fable was good for a action RPG. Also have any of you guys played Golden Sun 1 and 2 on GBA?

Hmmmmmmmmm, I have only played Morrowind, and that game was just annoying with the fighting. Other than that, Morrowind is the best. So much exploring and venturing. The best part is when you kill someone important.

BTW, has anyone found the secret guild? The one that hires you to kill people? THAT GUILD IS FLIPPIN AWESOME!!!!!!!

Morrowind,then KOTOR then Fable.

A huge living breathing world,no npc you cant kill,no building or structure you cant enter,no invisible walls,no place you see but cant go...be who you want,play how you want....

It delivered more of what Fable promised than Fable did.

I remember the first time I figgured out I could levitate...that was soooo tight.
I'd seen that flying island and figgured there must be some way you teleport up there,then about a week later (real time) I learned the levitation bit,and that I could fly up there...or anywhere for that matter.
