Rumble Pit Reset!!!

It seems that Rumble Pit has been resetted. I haven't found out why yet though. The highest level at the time of this point is a level 6. Games played and you're level resetted!!

However, when I go to the Rumble Pit pregame lobby, It has my old level (16). :confused: I'm going to wait and see if the reset is perm. or something?

I'm hearing a rumor (as many of you probably had) that in a couple of hours the stats for everything will be resetted.

Well, if the glitches were fixed, I'd welcome the reset... if nothing has been done.. then it's retarded.

As of now... I've played most of the guys up on the top right now in Rumble Pit. They're pretty good but the 1st place guy... ChAoSdaNinja didn't seem as good as i thought he'd be, he was easier than other guys. I took a break but now back to RP.. gotta get up to front page :)... at least second.

Alpha, Soundscap, Totten, and I had a good team going last night in T.Sk. yeah, it was great to finally play some matchmaking with some fellow xba members. thanks for the invites, alpha. and big team battle was a blast with all of you guys for the one or two games i was there. you guys are all very good.

It would make sense to reset the stats. Wait until the new year to do it so people can get a feel for how the stats work. I think it's a good idea.

It's just a glitch, there would be no reason to reset rumble pit of all the lists... :-\

if its a glitch and im at level 4 now, which my old level was 13, and when the glitch is fixed, will my level go from 13 to 17?

i think they should just reset it.

No if they reset aynthing (which they won't right now), Team Skirmish and Clan Matches would be the first to go. I am serious when I say about 50% of clans that are over 20 in Minor use stand-by, and just as many in Team Skirmish. I've played over 250 Rumble Pits and not once has someone use stand-by, which is pretty amazing.

We (me, JJax, Duke, and Xtopia) got standby'd last night in a Team Skirmish match. I reported the other teams tags and now I can't access their stats. :p

Rumble Pit Rankings: UPDATE

After a period of investigation, we’ve discovered what caused the rankings in the Rumble Pit matchmaking playlist to be reset on January 1st. We have isolated the problem and we can revert player rankings to the point before they were reset.




After some discussion, we decided that this would benefit more players than it hurts, but rankings achieved since Jan 1 will be reset to either their status on December 31, or for brand new players, simply reset to level 1.

This server update will take place at 2am PST tomorrow morning, in order to minimize disruption to the service. During this period, stats for those Rumble Pit matches will be unavailable.

We realize this process will cause some aggravation – especially for players who’ve been working since Jan 1 to regain their ranking, but we feel far more players will benefit than suffer. For those who are annoyed, we genuinely apologize. Fixing the rankings should also alleviate the mismatches that inexperienced players have had to suffer through.
It's back to where it was now. I wish it wasn't actually, because I accidently let my sister play that instead of training ground when I first got it and she screwed my stats in that.
