appearance question...

how do i change my appearance from spartan to elite??? This might be stupid, but i really dont know how to..

Go to settings and then go to your profile. The first option allows you to change from a Spartan to an elite.

I decided to change to an elite after all this time and I noticed that when you jump, your knees come up into view. Interesting.
I don't like the way the elite holds the shotgun though. It's pretty unrealistic to be hip shooting all the time.. but then again.. this isn't a realistic game.

it's where you make a dummy of yourself yet it's invisible and you can go get the flag and return it super fast without even being seen. it's ALOT more complex than that but it's sorta like it.

the only real way that bungie could fix this is to take the melee away, warthogs away, the passenger seat of the warthog, make warthogs where they can't get next to the flags, or just have spartans in multiplayer.

any one of those would fix the dummy glitch. i think the latter would be the best.

note: it takes two people, a warthog, and the person making the dummy must be an elite.

I think elites have a disadcantage with their heads hanging down because you can aim at their head and chest at the same time and their easier to snipe from the side. I dunno. I treid being an elite at first, got my ass handed to me, then switched to MC, and did much better.

I just wanted to be something different now. With the addition of being an elite in Halo2, there aren't too many people out there that is one. I just wanted be different. All white with steel secondary colors.

i have to wonder if the elites and spartans have different hitboxes dues to their differing size. surely they do, right? because i've read at the bungie forums that they used the same hitboxes for both models.

I find Elites to be easy to snipe. Their freaking head sticks way out there from the profile view as well as the front. It's a tad more difficult to snipe from the back but once you know where to shoot at it's teh ez.

Okay, I will bet everyone on this site that you can not get a headshot from behind me. I realize it isnt IMPOSSIBLE but when they are moving it has to be all luck and it is hard to come by. Please dont talk like your that good at the game b/c we all know that your not :cheers:

The S2's bullets will pass right through your upper back and exit roughly between your eyeballs and mouth if you are using the Elite model. You CAN get headshots from the back. Keep practicing...

Well, i aint that good at sniping at all, i will pluck a few people at times, but im an infantry type person, i like to go into a battle. I only play sniper if it is necessary, or just to get the sniper rifle from the enemy in zanzibar, so they wont have both. The shotgun is my baby. I still suck though..
