There are two really strange things about the Hurricane. The first is that it has two Hemi V-8 engines. Together, the engines produce a total of 670 horsepower and 740 pound-feet of torque. Depending on power needs at any given time, the off-roader can run on 4, 8, 12 or all 16 cylinders.

It can also, literally, turn on a dime. Front and back wheels can angle inward allowing the Hurricane to rotate in one spot. It also offers more traditional four-wheel steering with front and rear wheels turning in opposite directions or, with all four wheels turned in the same direction, the Hurricane can be driven sideways.

Too bad that most concepts are just a test bed for various technologies and it's rare to so see a concept go straight to the consumer exactly as it was in the concept model.

However, there should be 2 models, one with the LAAG Gun and the other with the Gauss Cannon.

Well like CharlieHustle says, that will be optional equipment added to the base MSRP. Oh, and there will a "slight" additional charge for armor plating.

Yeah didnt we have a thread about that one a ways back? I want to drive!! I can take any two people for passenger and one gunner. Oh and I guess I can fit Whisper in teh trunk :p (if it has one)
