If I am that unsure of a game, I will go out and rent it, but I usually do some research on any game before I buy it.

I can't stand waiting for the rental store to get it in stock. I am an impatient cow :D

But I don't rent. I buy based on, If I like it, If it's talked about a lot, Type of game, ect..

i rent a ton of games... but it's rare that i find an ultimate game that i must buy... only game that comes to mind is Grandia II (for DC)... i was a retard not to buy that game :P :P :P

I usually never rent any game that interests me because I have no desire to play it unless I put the $50 into it. Also, it kills me to spend $5 renting a game for a couple days knowing I could put that $5 towards buying the game.
