this is getting this alot lately. ill be playing and out of nowhere get booted, i know i didnt kill any of my team mates, and its a matchmade game. how do i keep getting booted?

Thats happened to me alot and pissed me off. I would like to know why also..

I'm still trying to figure out the booting system. I've been betrayed a million times in Halo 2 and only 2 or 3 times have I seen the option to boot someone. Yet, those betrayals are pretty blatant, not like circumstantial.

Someone has to tk you twice before you get the option to boot them.

its an in game glitch. Its weird, I'll die, (by someone from the other team) and it will say a kid from my team betrayed me, even though I know he was no where near.

This game is seriously turning into a SC:PT. There are so many damn glitches now, it is losing my respect. I am about ready to put down my XBox controller and to start play MoH Pacific Assault.

Ubisoft didn't do anything about their glitches.. Bungie wont either.

Actually UbiSoft came out w/ a patch for the glitches. To bad it was 3 months after everyone was done playing it. :( Well except me of course. :)

can anyone name 1 or 2 pefect, glitch free games for xbl?

face it...all games has glitch. game developers do not realized that there are smart people out there that can figure out a glitch without the developers knowing that there is one in the game.

I was playing BTB and for some reason someone on my team was killing me where I was nowhere near him and I knew he didn't have to sniper. I was fighting the other team and all of a sudden I was killed by him twice. I just booted him the second time to make sure I would die spontaneously. I conculsion I am not sure what is happening with the booting but there is something.

Well, I had noticed one. I was in a CTF match and I was squating in a corner since thease 2 guys were coming around to get the flag. Both of them didn't see me and had their backs faced to me and I'm surrounded by a wall and then next I know I'm killed by a shot gun, from one of the guys on the other team, yet he wasn't looking at me, and it wasn't lag.

The worst I've seen is if you have two people in a warthog in a CTF match and there's a driver and the guy in the passenger seat has the flag and you keep pressing X quickly or something like that, it'll automatically give you a score since some guys did it in this game I was in, very annoying. So are the ones who constantly team kill.

You know that people who crouch walk appear invisible to your motion detector. Plus you don't have a 180 degree field of vision. You can crouch walk pretty fast too, roughly the same speed as someone with the flag or bomb can run.
Sounds like a tactic we've done before. A few guys go in with a mad dash for the flag or bomb and a few more crouch walk in as the security ambush.

i dont get the betrayal thing... it isnt if you get betrayed twice cause ive been betrayed numerous times and havent gotten the option to boot... yet ive been betrayed once, even though i started shootin the guy :p for a good reason, and gotten killed and have booted them

Yeah, it does leave you fairly vulnerable, especially from the back. Now your head is at chest level to someone behind you, so it's easier to get meleed.

Hmmm....what the original poster talked about sounds like something I was introduced to yesterday. While I was at the blue screen the connection got screwed up and I had to re-connect. I got in my game with me a teamate and one person left on the other team. (There were originally 8 people.) About 3 seconds later the guy on the other team leaves after another blue screen business occurs. I get out to the post-game lobby and my teammate tells me I've witnessed "Brand new glitch" (those exact words..foreigners...) Anway, he told me that he always got host because he has a really good connection, and he has a wireless router. According to him, he blocks the wire on his adapter with something (I assume some sort of metal) and it basically boots everyone, and he gets first.

Now, I don't know if he was lieing, but it seemed pretty damned believable.
