Its about time that sega sports do sumthin. I thought they were just gonna bend over and take it. Even though i wish they would have gotten the NFL exclusive license, but the baseball will do. This is just a rumor though, but word on the street is that it will be announced soon.

Sega's never had a strong MLB game, but secruing the NBA liscense works since their game is awesome. But still; Sega's screwed because of ESPN and NFL (their top 2 priorities). I cannot wait for the next football game season, I want to see badly how it all pans out.

You know, I like baseball. I have a hard time getting into baseball games, though. They just aren't too fun at all.

Oh crap, MVP Baseball was the greatest thing to come out of EA. Damn you Sega, buy anything else, just not Baseball.

i know, this past game was tight as he.ll. I loved it. even though it was a rehash of the previous game, it still was the best sim baseball game out.

Last year EA had the best baseball game on the market in MVP. Unfortunately most of us were stuck playing ESPN MLB 2k5 because it had online play. While ESPN wasnt a horrible game, MVP by far had the better gameplay. It seemed much more controllable, the throwing meters were definitely a plus. And the batting system just seemed to work so much better in MVP.

What I can see happening here is MS being behind it. They have the rights to the High Heat title and could possible contract VC to do it for them. Well still looking forward to checking out both ESPN and MVP this season to see which is better for online.

Good point; only baseball game I've played from them was like World Series 2K, and ESPN Baseball.... if World Series was good I wouldn't remember, I was like 10 years old. I'll reword myself.

"Last years ESPN Baseball game wasn't anything to get excited over. I personally thought MVP was better."

I say screw EA over. This is going to hurt all of us in the long run. Damn. I actually thought EAs' baseball game was better last year.

That's because it was in almost every aspect except for online play. I woulnd't mind seeing WSB return, I just don't like the ESPN set up.

Maybe since we all seem to agree that MVP was better.. and NFL 2k5 was better.. then maybe EA and Sega can trade the licenses lol
