In the Zanzibar forum at Bungie.net, they have an official cheaters thread.

Do it in both, that would be the most effective way.

Ha ha, Lil Playa G is on my F List from the SC:PT days. I'm going to scare him into thinking he's going to get banned. And to think he asked me to join his clan

Bullcrap, what if you win a game fair a square, but the other team wants to be a bunch of girls and leaves bad feedback?

According to Bungie, they said they can review the stats and all that and instantly tell whos a cheater and who is not.
This was a fear players had. People reporting them as cheaters merely out of retribution from a loss.
However, look at the dummy glitch. From what I see and hear, the person who does it, doesn't have a route in the game viewer when he gets the flag.
Plus they can check game times and all that. Bungie said that people shouldn't be scared. If you didn't cheat, they know when they review it all.
Plus, the stand by glitch? That has to set off some alarm somewhere on a network monitor station.

I just talked to those guys that you played Xbox Owner and they tell me that they didn't stand-by
They told me that they were hanging by a tree (the one by the beach behind the sandbag rocks thingy). And the bomb guy beat down someone and ran to ur base while ur team was at the beach. Kept saying that they didn't do stand-by. I dunno whose telling the truth or not so I got 1 question. Did it go to the blue screen?

Is glitching on Beaver Creek with the flag in the corner, or the bomb in the teleport considered cheating?

I believe bungie is only banning people where you have proof(Aka, video, or imageviewer)
on the imageviewer if they standbyed/Dummied the flag will appear in a long line all the way to the capture point.

Post in both the Zanzibar forum at Bungie
AND
the Halo 2 forums in XboxLive.com... They started a cheaters thread there too.

Okay, I have this really cool technique for stealing the flag and scoring almost instantly on Beaver Creek, it involves glitching but no dummy or standby. I feel, since glitches are part of the game, exploiting them isn't exactly cheating.

I say that's wrong. The game isn't meant to be played so you can capture a flag in less than a second, so you can freeze your opponents, so you can grab items through geometry. Even in SC:PT, if the game allows you to clip through walls, it's prefectly fine?
No, glitching is cheating as far as I'm concernced.

Throwing out windows (Waterworks), grabbing through walls (Beaver Creek, Headlong, Zanzibar), and bouncing (that small one with the jump thingy) are all becoming part of the game...just gotta get used to it

I agree, I believe if a glitch doesn't include a person becoming invisble, invincible, quick capture, etc then it shouldn't be considered cheating. Grabbing flags through walls is now part of the game and shouldn't be considered cheating. That is just my OPINION.

Bungie isn't going to ban people for grabbing through walls but you still shouldn't do it, it's so cheap. The same goes for people who play H2H and crouch in a corner after getting one kill.
It's impossible to be falsly accused of cheating by Bungie. A good example was this one guy on the Znazibar forums at Bungie. He claimed he had never cheated but has still got a suspension. The someone else posted a link to a game viewer showing the guy taking a flag directly from one end of the stage to the other. It was that Covenant circular stage with the grav-lifts holding the platform in the middle, so it would have been impossible to do without levitating through the stage.

How do you post on Bungie.net's forum?????

I believe if you have a fair chance of getting the flag back it's not cheating. So what if they get it through the wall. I can hunt them down easily since the flag bearer is slower. But I still never use glitches none the less.
