Madden Draft

Anybody serisouly mad about the draft picks after you finish a season in Madden? For example, the comp drafted a QB that was faster than Michael Vick, but do you know what his ACC and AGI were? Frickin' 30's. I drafted a bruiser for a left tackle and do you know what his speed was... frickin' 20. I love Madden, but I hate how they make these players in the draft suck. They'll be good in all categories except SPD or ACC or AGI, and it jst makes them bad... This might seem like a gripe, but when you're trying to build up your franchize, and the all your draft-picks have glaring deficienies, it's bad...

I don't really remember this being too much of a problem, but maybe my importing a draft class has something to do with that.

just do whatever drill they are bad in during training camp, and try to get a gold trophy or whatever for maximum stat points. simulate a couple of years if you have to, just doing the training camp to get their attributes up.

Can you edit rookies?

I believe when you start your franchise there is a thing that you pick whether you want to be able to edit rookies or not. I think it's just their names, numbers, gear, etc., not there attributes. I could be wrong about the first part.

i'm going to rent ncaa football 2005 and import the draft class. then after the draft I am going to add all the names to them.

I'm stuck in the first week of pre season. It won't let me simulate the game,week,season or play the last game of week one. Anyone here know how to work around this SOB. Thanks

did you go through training camp already?

Yep went thru training camp. Had all games plamed for 1st week of season except one. It won't let me simulate or play the or even simulate the rest of pre season. I assume it's some kind of corrupted file. Is there any way to work around this? I haqte to lose this whole setup. I just got finished buildig a new stadium and my team is in the black and winning super bowls.

Did you go to the bottom of the preseason weekly schedule and push y to uncheckmark the last game? It won't simulate the week if you don't uncheckmark it I think. Or maybe I am thinking you do that for your whole preseason schedul and regular season schedule.

Yep. Even tried to play the game. It tries to start but goes back to the same screen. I'm in a quagmire! It's like the movie Ground Hog Day.
