Alright, i went to the Ign Boards and was looking for a video that my friend had told me about. It was about weapong cloning..... Alright the video was there and it linked me to a Putile Upload, Yeah so what it was, was this dude using a sword and a beam rifle, and somehow he just made piles and piles of beam rifles. Does anyone know if its possible, because i think he must of had a modded xbox,,,

Here's how ya do it:

Tutorial:
Ok...what you do is...first pick up a beam rifle...then go to another spot where another beam rifle is...make your ammo lower than the beam rifle on the floor soo you can pick that one up.....then what you do is lower the beam rifles ammo in your hand lower than the one on the floor and press Y repeatedly and hold X...you should pick up the beam rifle and it will still be there on the floor and you will drop a beam rifle...then when you look at the floor..theres 2 beam rifles....if you do this correctly there should be more than 1 beam rifle on the floor...or if you screw up you will drop your secondary weapon...
...I hope that made sence....ask if you dont understand

Oh and did you know there is 2 glitches in this video...The Weapon Cloning..And Dropping Two Weapons..

no in game value, b/c there will never be only two beams... either will be plenty of beams, or only 1 beam

Not true. If the host quits, there will be another one respawned. :argue1:

Could you do it with other Plasma Weapons? Such as the Rifle or Pistol?

well i dont play matchmaking anymore, and our hosts dont quit.

I do know that in optimatch if the host quits and a big ticket weapon is being held, another spawns up.
I can't think of any map that has more than one beam rifle.

There isn't any maps that has more then one beam rifle.. They usually consist of a beam rifle and a human sniper, or two human snipers.

no... the game was already ruined.

it was ruined when they announced that they weren't here to treat the hard core fans, but to make it a game that would sell... so when they announced that the soccer moms were gunning people down in the testing phase, i gave up.

Has anyone tried this to make sure it works? Even if it's just for fun.

Me and my friend did in a custom game in coagulation.. It's hard to do. It was actually pretty boring :(

I don't think it will be a threat to the game though... But look @ the link I posted... It's a Halo 2 cheaters fansite :yikes:

Can you do it in the campaign? It would be rather amusing to clone up a few rocket launchers and give them to the marines to use. When they get a weapon, they have unlimited ammo.

Hehe I remember cloning my guns in Halo. I got an auto pistol or a plasma pistol that could shoot rockets. The best one was the plasma rifle turned into a sniper.
