mini discs

does anyone notice in the x box disc
drawer a slot for smaller discs that looks like a nintendo disc size.
couuld this be for the future? play
nintendo discs on x box? or for add
on mini discs?

everthing has that like my computer does it doesnt mean that it would destroy the whole purpose of the system wars and whos better and stuff

its most likely because the drive is a PC DVD drive, which all have the groove for 80MB & 50MB CD-Rs which are small

mini discs are Magnito Optical discs, which i don't think can be read by regular cdroms, not to mention how to get it out of that case.

They actually used to use the smaller media format for CD singles. I have a couple of those.

They are also used for cd business cards. The ones that look like this:
