I'm kinda curious about that myself.

Heres an unfounded guess with no basis in fact what so ever: Musta been technical restraints of the xboxlive service...an MMORPG would definitaly sold ALOT of subscriptions.

It was cancelled, but now it's back in development, but they didnt say for what system.

Regardless, it's a LONG ways off, so dont even start waiting yet

No it was because the workers lost interest in it.

I remember a certain someone looking forward to it, don't want to say any names *cough* Yankeez *cough*.
I remember when I told him it was cancelled, at first it looked like he was okay, but I knew he was crying inside. Every day he use to call me long distance (COLLECT!) about all the concept art (peice by peice) until I changed my phone number.
Oh you should have seen him when he found out there would be no LIVE for Fable, he wasn't on the xbox addict chat for days. And whenever he was on he always recited these depressing haikuu's made by suicidal kindergardeners. (It was scarey).
When I finally told him that True Fantasy Online might be coming back, but it would probably go to the PS2 rather than Xbox, something told me he was devistated. It might have been the fact that he tried to make his own MMORPG using left over Halo 2 action figures, 2 troll dolls, and a broken Lexmark printer he called "Sparky", I don't know im not a psychiatrist.
And we haven't seen him since :cry:

Yes Yankeez, just keep thinking that. Even though the company never mentioned Microsoft in their revival speech there is still "hope". I'm sure when they said they were leaning towards the PC/PlayStation, they were just joking and/or on drugs.

TFO was one of the few games that captured Japanese interest, I mean a LOT of them according to XBN, then they canceled the game and screwed that market for sure... makes no sense whatsoever

A MMOFPS = Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter.
From the screenshots the game looks nice, but due to the lack of moral it's going no where :(
