Ubisoft's Xbox Live™ hit Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon™ 2 has, to date, been missing only one thing: downloadable content. And, true to form, the first content for GR2 is a doozy, and, wouldn't you know it, it's totally free. This is not a simple map bundle—though we do get three new maps. Ubi's also polished up eight new weapons, two new multiplayer skins (Korean gear and digital camouflage), five new kit restrictions, and even a couple of new game types.

I haven't played GR2 in quite awhile, and with Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell, and Doom looming on the horizon, I don't see it happening anytime soon. They lost me when they released a product that was not ready to be released, and not being quick enough to release a patch.

I hear the Assault Pack #2 has just been released, four more maps, new costumes, etc.
