A disk version would just have the Patch and the maps, I think. Bungie said they wanted to make the DLC available to everyone who has Halo 2.

i still have the page in my browser from earlier today. here's what it says....

The Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack is a collection of nine multiplayer maps, as well as non-playable video content (a cinematic and a mini-documentary). Delivered on a standard Xbox DVD disc, the multiplayer content can be used by gamers on Xbox Live as well as those who play multiplayer via System Link or via Split-screen (on one Xbox).

Nine (9) all-new multiplayer maps
New cinematic video
New mini-documentary video from Bungie Studios

no, you're not an idiot. eb took it down so someone made a copy of the page.


variation - some dude at the mlg forums that supposedly works for eb said that they had it their computer with a release date of may 25th. so i dunno.

Well it wasn't in my system as of yesterday so who knows. Then again I'm Canadian, so we always get things late compared to the "real" stores :P
