has anyone brough an xbox before october 2003 ? has your xbox been heating dramatically i have recieved an xbox letter a couple of days ago to clarify that products of the wires hooking up to the scart lead have made problems to the xbox.if that has been happening i woul advice you to write to xbox microsoft so they can deal with the problem you have. please reply your comments to mattysimonian@hotmail.com

My xbox got burnt out before I got the letter so I got a new one cause it would have been more expensive than getting it repaired. 2 weeks later I get the letter and find that I could have got a replacment free! I'm so unlucky 1 in 10 000 grrrr

mine was pre oct 2003, i registered for a chord but never got it... dont really care though, i was just doing it for the free stuff!! MS just wanted to make sure that they couldnt be sued, because if something did happen with the old cable, and people found out that MS had known of the posibal dangers then they could sue for lots and lots of money.
