Sadly I hoped to do the same once I got a xbox but my playstation and my N64 remain in my room untouched since december 02.

Depend if backwards compatibility is there and how LIVE1 and LIVE2 will work together.

the only game i can imagine playing again would be xbox2... but i think once i get the next gen xbox mt pre-gen and its games will gather dust on a shelf...

You'd be playing Xbox2 again? WTF? Um, I don't think I will touch my XBox games except if Xbox2 is backwards compatible.
