Still Cant Copy Burned CDs to XBOX - NEED HELP

Well I rented AMPED today... and now its manditory that I copy some Burned CDs to the XBOX... MANDITORY... Ive tryed numerous things, still cant recognize the CD... heres what I have:



Maxell CDRW
650 MB
74 Mins

First we used the program that came with the burner... then we tryed NERO because it was suggested on another site... and yes we used the 2 second gap like stated. so now we really need this to work...

could someone please tell me what to do for this.. thanks.

Try another type of CDRW.

Maxell CdRws are very generic... there is no reason why they would not work.

I did not know any of the burned CD's worked. I only tried 1 and it did not work, but I have 2 Maxell's, a Fuji and a Memorex right now.anyone know if either of these work, or any brand that does?

ya'll iz foolz :p cause I got Maxell CD-RW's, 650 MB, 74 Mins. and they work for me, Maybe you have tha wrong version of Nero. What version do you have.

I dont see why it should be so hard to do this.. it should be so simple... the same burned Cds workin in players... its sad it should be much easier

I´ve heard you cant use burned cds in your xbox.
i hope this is still just a rumour.

it's a hardware difference in the way cd-r's and other types of media are read... adding cd-r compatability would've added to the xbox's cost, for no real useful purpose (and, by not having it, they make ever copying games that much more of a pain)

cd-rw's should work, however... the ones i had/used (sony and hp) both worked

that's not to say that all cd-r's won't work, because some do... and some cd-rw's don't... but you're much more likely to be successful with cd-rw

half of my cd collection is burned, and i havent been able to copy any of those to my xbox........though i havent tired any CD-RW......if u want something on ur xbox that bad, go buy the REAL cd...........

I have said this over and over. U need to use Verbatim 24x CDRW's with nero 55111 and dont burn the music faster than 10x.

These work everytime, if it doesnt read it the first try simply eject it and insert it again. You should have success. Everyone who has tried this that i know of hasnt had any problems.

I used HP burning software and an HP CDRW, no probs at all.

Im sorry use nero 5564, the newest version that supports DVD burning.
