I'm reliving the appeal of Halo 2.

I borrowed this game from a friend when I got my new Xbox (sold my copy when I unloaded my stuff). Anyhow, got my new box, and he wasn't touching his Halo 2, so I borrowed it, paid for the new maps and everything. Well, he comes by yesterday and I show him some PsychonNauts, and APPARENTLY, took his H2 w/ him. Just now noticed, even.

WTF????

I haven't wanted to play this game for weeks! But now I DO!

Yeah, I really got an urge to run around and blast stuff. I got BIA, but that's not quite the fix. Chaos Theory...same thing. Raze's Hell I just picked up, and that might suffice, but really I just want to cause havoc Halo style.

Ah, well, suppose I might have to go pick up my own copy here again. Seen a lot of used copies lately, so bet I could find it for around $35-$40.

Halo 2 is good but at the moment I'm bored of it. I just play at System Links now with my friends.

Yeah, I get bored of it pretty quick, but hadn't played it in since the new maps came out. But found the copy anyhow, it was pushed back behind my other games. Got some good rounds in w/ Casper, Duke, and Xtopia actually. Didn't play too shabby, either, for me.

And XBC is just too laggy for me. I've used them back in the day, but would rather just set up a LAN party w/ some friends than go to the trouble, especially for as little as I would ultimately play.
