Legendary....??!

Just wondering, has anyone clocked halo 2 in ledgendary single player? It took me like 2 weeks to get past the first stage!! i dont know if this is because i suck or because its ridiculously hard

Considering I can only play 2 hours a day on LIVE. I have played Legendary, I got up to Gravemind I believe (around like level 8). It is very hard however not too complicated. Combo it up, run and hide, let your shields regenerate, combo, run, etc.

yeah, h2's campaign in legendary is pretty rediculous. those sniping jackals rarely miss. halo 2's campaign sucks, imo. i never felt compelled to finish it. i played a few levels and said to hell with it...too boring.

I made it to the part where your on the scorpion going across the bridge. Level 2 or 3 I think. Then it was all about live

I only played the campaign for like the first two days, until i beat it. Now im only playing on live. Every great once-in-a-while ill go back to it, but only to get some of the skulls and mess around.

I didn't even beat it on easy. I got bored after the stupid ass part with the hologram things flying around. The story sucks.

I agree, however when you can't play LIVE as much as you would like, you are forced to play Campaign (not really forced but more compelled). After I beat it, I decided to never touch it again.

None of those other parts compare to the part you have two holograms and one main guy flying around. You start and can stick one with a plasma grenade, and run for cover! After I don't know how many restarts, I got away from that spot to the next savepoint, but if you don't take the holos out then he makes more. I haven't played it on legendary since I got stuck here! If someone wants to help in co-op, PLEASE let me know!

Played Campaign on Normal and beat it in like 3 days. Story sucked balls so I never touched it again. It's all about the LIVE baby. Without LIVE there it would be sitting on a store shelf trying to get bought as a pre-played game.

I beat Halo 2 the first time I sat down and played it. I played it on Heroic and played non-stop via Co-op until beaten.

Honestly, I have never tried Legendary...I haven't even thought about it until this thread.

Yes yes we Jackals are damn accurate :p. But no they are crazy accurate on legendary. I haven't gotten too far because I'm always online when I do play. I'll probably do it co-op eventually but really wanna do it single player even though it's tough.

The final boss is like near impossible, my friend and i just got there in Legendary and we do all th stuffs we can do but still can't beat him. HIs shield regenerate like in 0-1 sec, that leave you like no time to deal him more than 1 shoot.

sometimes i think those elite beasts have scopes attached to their plasma guns in ledgendary. They rarely miss my face when im trying to pop a cap in their ass which sucks cause in other difficultly levels their generally a pleasure to nail (I love the noise those beasts release upon blowing the $#% up!). Particularly when a bunch of them gather up, all it takes is a couple of plasma balls to my head and its back to the last checkpoint with another screaming curse on my part.

I can't understand why people didn't lie thit story of this game? I loved it, in fact, at times it was what kept me going in the game. The only complaint I have, is that it ended a little abruptly, but you also have to take into account that it is a continuing story. It's like the Lord of the Rings movies, how many people I know who never read the books were like, "meh, it was a good movie, but it just ended...". Anyways, I never even started Legendary, I don't have the skill nor the patience.

I agree, I think the story ripped I got pretty involved when playing. I hear their making a Halo movie it will be interesting to see how that pans out.

P.S., did anyone see that little scene that comes up after the credits have rolled when Cortana talks to that big plant beast thing?

its definitely worth playing and beating on legendary. At times it can become a frustrating example of trial-and-error gameplay, especially when dealing with the jackal snipers who never miss...but its can be lots of fun, especially when playing with your AI controlled teammates. they really become valuable, and you'll find yourself giving up the good weapons to give to your allies.
