I believe the 360 controllers have built in rechargable batteries that are charged through a port on the system itself or something like that.

Plugging the controller in with the USB cable will recharge the batts, you can even play while its charging, it just won't charge as fast, kinda like the PSP or GBA.

I look at these pics from E3 of the troller and I am thinking its going to be an option like it could take batteries that are not rechargable and those that are or something.

from what i've heard, you can use regular AA batteries, or get some rechargeable ones that will be able to be charged through the usb port

Well, can this one hold for at least around 3 hours?

I'd expect around 18hrs per charge

Well uhm, if its going to be default wireless remote, they better get in their budget wireless xbox live headsets, because im not planning on buying a seperate one. I believe the headset should be like, a little ear piece, like C I A style crap, i think thats better

you can use normal AA batteries for about 70hrs of play with 100% headset power etc, and you can use the rechargeable feature (recharged with usb cable- which you can use as wired controller) for about 40hrs of play.

In the EGM of this month they said the controllers do come with batteries that you can recahrge, or standard AA batteries will work too.
