I found this site from scrambling around the xbox site, and i found this site that says "starting september u will be able to buy mountain dew bottles and collect codes to enter in."
After entering the code with your email adress, and every 10 minutes for 9 FULL WEEKS , which after doing some calculations this adds up to be 9047 xbox 360's.
EDIT:If the site doesnt load properly just exit the page and click it again.

yessir, they annouced this at e3, at least on g4's coverage of it. J Allard himself stated it, so i figured it was real. I wonder what are the odds of winning, and how the hell can they afford to be giving these things away lkike candy....
300 dollar a pop candy....

I still think the odds are slim for that. That's why I'm working on a free site that's garunteed to give you your 360 when it comes out when you complete their easy requirements(look in the sig).

Companies spend 2+ million for 30 seconds of superbowl tv ad time. This is 2 months worth of crosspromotion. Mountain Dew is paying for those Xbox's they are giving out. It's win win, for both. :)

It's a great way to promote there product and it isn't costing them that much.
The only negative is that 9000 is not a lot, and I will be EXTREMELY suprised if even one person I know on XBA or in RL ( :p ) gets one.
