No Scopes

Do you go for the sure thing and take two shots or gamble and go for the head.

I know that some of us here are gods at no scoping, but for the average player like ME, do you prefer to take the two shots or take the risk by going for the head shot.

For me, anytime I snipe, I usually take 2 shots per kill anyway. I always think to myslef that i might as well take the two safe shots whenever I get the chance. Of course, I HAVE to go for the head in a lot of situations but mostly the 2 shot kill. also, if i didnt reload in time and i only have on shot left in the clip, its good to hit the body of the enemy first, then whip out the trusty BR out to give the final blow to the face.

A good gaming tactic is to have a good seconary. I prefer the BR the most just cause i can use it effectively in all situations and distances.

Another thing, Ive been getting no scoped A LOT lately in MM games. Has it really gotten that easy, does it have to do with that I am playing amongst higher levels, or is it just me and I am just at the bad end of a string of bad luck? It is just crazy how good some kids are.

I always aim for the head...with any gun.

Hell, even if you aim for the body, you will likely get credited with a headshot anyway since the hitboxes in Halo 2 are ridiculously large.

I do both, like if i know that the dude is far there is no way im going to try and no scope him, but like say if hes close up, i would most likely try to no scope him, because its real easy to "swipe scope" now a days.

I just usually shoot at him, and don't really concentrate on the body part, sometimes I'll get a headshot, sometimes a body shot, sometimes nothing. If I get a body shot though, I usually melee the guy. I don't like putting myself in a situation in which I might have to no-scope someone, so I usually check my radar a lot and try to get in a place w/ decent cover so I can move behind it if I'm being shot at and then just grenade-br shot the guy when he comes for me.

Head shot. just as easy as a body shot (almost). It seems like I suck in no scope games but when I play matchmaking I can no scope left and right.

Body shot, cause I'm way too damn figgedy to get them in the head everytime. I'm a pretty crappy sniper, its one of the things I definetly need to work on. Normally when I no scope, I know I won't be able to hit them in the head, so I go two shots or one shot and a melee.

if they are far and walking aimlessly ..i usually go for the body..2 shotter...but if they're battling a team mate and sitting relatively in one area ... i go for the head..

and no scoping should only be done in desperation.... switch to your br. if they have a 1 or 2 shot lead on you, go for a no scope to br burst for the kill.

If they are walking aimlessly withouth shooting or anything, wouldnt it be easier trying to get the head shot, and saving ammo?

Head always come on people. Most likely if you do miss the head you'll hit something else on them (unless you're terrible) so why not go for the one hit kill. And if you're packin a BR to and you hit them once in the body with a snipe and wanna save ammo you can switch to the BR and finish them off.

noting to the first sentence, i usually take two shots just to make sure i get them, i am usually acreate a lot, but if their standing still i will only use one, duuu

A few days ago, I played the craziest no scope game with my friends, after the first 2 kills they thought I was cheating, so I started recording. The game was too huge for putfile(28 megs) and when I compressed it, it looked real bad, so I took some clips of the game.

Nice I love it when you turn around and see the sword guy in the middle of his lunge at you and you no scope him. but yea I always aim for the head you might not be able to get off that second shot.

lately, i've gotten into the habit of just taking the body shot then super lunge with a melee to finish them off. cheap, but it still gets you the kill.

Yeah, that's what I do. But you see, I suck pretty bad..and well...when I miss the body shot, which I do from time to time, I'm pretty screwed. :rofl:
