As most of you know, MLG Las Vegas is fast approaching. Without the threat of 3D at the tournament, what teams do you think will contend for first?


Here's what I think will happen :

1. IGS/Str8
2. Str8/IGS
3. Monglers Legendz
4. Type Z/ SV
5. Type Z/ SV
6. Type Z/ SV
7. SA/ NT
8. SA/ NT



I think that it's between str8 and IGS, and probably IGS. Hopefully my team will do well, I'm hoping for top 12, with a [way outside] shot at top 8. We've scrimmed a few times with Monglers Legendz and kept up on their host. We also took 2/3 from the top 8 st louis team Manhattan Project [with their new/better replacement.]The games were pretty good, we won TS 50-46, they won CTF 3-0, and we won oddball 5:00-1:44.

My flight leaves thursday, wish me luck :D

What are your opinions on mlg vegas?

I wish you the best of luck...hopefully your hit boxes will be bigger than their hitboxes.

But seriously, good luck and have fun.

I'm heading down to Vegas soon for the National Beer Convention...should be pretty cool :)

He's a member from this site...obviously, you're not him. I believe Scorpion thought that Mikeman created a new nickname.

I've been thinking he's Mikeman all along. Especailly as mikeman hasn't posted since he showed up. And how they post with the exact same style. I still believe it's mikeman.

Sam got banned he can't post here anymore, he doesn't like this site anyways so I doubt he'd make a new profile.

Yea, every post sounds like one of Mike's. Not to mention I don't think anyone that competes in MLG would find and post at this site.

Welll, we got 13th. We lost the fifth game of a five game series 50-49, and we shoulda beat them, then we woulda been tied for 9th, with a shot at Storm Ventures for top 8 with all our best gametypes. it sucked.

anyways, to people asking who i am, if you think im mikeman, then keep thinking that, if you dont think i am, keep thinking that.

anyways, it wasnt the best tourny for me, i went out 1st round ffa cuz of stolen kills

5th place by 1 kill, 36 kills, 34 assists, 24 deaths.

most assists by 15

Thats ffa for yah, don't know why they wont play some more intricate maps for ffa mlg. Like Lockout or Ivory Tower.

Tough luck, Mikeman. 50-49 of the 5th Game is as close as it gets.

If you get that many assists in FFA, that's just bad positioning or someone screen peeks :p
