As in will the USA still be region 1 and Australia region 4 for example?
Reason why i'm asking is.....
I'll have the opportunity to buy a 360 from the States, BUT its of no use if i cant use it upon my return to Australia.
Why do they use region protection on the consoles nowadays anyway?
ALL dvd/HD players in Australia are open region now anyway - shouldn't the 360 step up the play and set a new 'open' presedence?
