Anyone know what the online play price will be for Xbox??

im getting the idea that it wont have a monthly fee, it will be a one time purchase of the CD that loads up the internet feature onto the hard drive, in the www.teamxbox.com review of online gaming and stuff, it stated that microsoft said this would be the 'killer app' that would intice people to get broadband from different ISP's, so i think you pay for the CD 50$> and then the headset which i hear is required another 30$> I assume? not sure on prices, just a guess

I would much rather do that and pay the one time fee vs. a monthly fee. Let's hope it works out that way.

According to OXM, the online fee will be $10.00 a month for unlimited play. Just plunk down your ten bucks and play all month long.

Sounds good. I see a business opportunity as an XBOX Online broker. Tell ya what...give me $8000 and I'll pay your $10/month access fee for as long as you own a functional XBOX (and the XBOX online network exists). Do we have a deal?
