i don't know why, but if i spend hundreds of dollars on games and i spent $300 on Xbox when it first came out, i just don't feel comfortable selling it all for less than 10% than what i bought it for, which is what will happen if i try to. I used to sell my games to Ebgames and i realized that they really rip you off....so i don't do it anymore.

All I know is I sold my Xbox about 1.5 months ago, and it wasn't even to help pay for my X360 (which was only half paid off at the time). I sold it cause I was desparate for cash (which seems to be my everyday life...what's left of it that I can call a life)...but I still kept my Xbox games. Now my only problem is I have decided I am tired of living. At least someone (probably my brother) will get to enjoy my X360 once I am gone. Sometimes life ends up sucking. Tonight I watched, for the first time, "Ghost World" w/ Thora Birtch, who I saw for the first time a few nights ago in "American Beauty", and I have to say, although there are a lot of actress out there who all sorts of guys would say are the most beautiful women they have seen (such as Angelina Jolie, who I WILL admint is incredibly sultry), there was something about her that...I don't know...just, like, really drew me to her. She has this incredibly natural beauty that...I don't know how to explain it. Anyway, what I guess I am trying to get at here, even though I know this is WAY off topic, is that there is such a similarity between the character she played in "Ghost World" and how I feel that I wish I could leave the way she does at the end of the movie instead of the way I will probably end up leaving. To all of you out there who have counted down the release of the X360, as I have, I wish you all the best when it comes to enjoying it to its fullest. I honestly don't/didn't mean to put a damper on anyones mood by posting this here, but sometimes things just flow from my mind at the oddest times, and when that happens, I just go with the flow...wherever that flow may take me. Maybe there is something to be said in the title "Ghost World", and not just about the town the movie takes place in. Maybe the meaning behind it can be applied to the entire world, quite literally, as the title suggests.
Shakespeare once said, "All the world is but a stage, and all its people mearly players, and every man will play many parts." I guess, sooner or later, the parts run out...and there's nothing left.

Let's see...I am 37 (almost 38), have seen therapists and psychiatrists (with medication) off and on for about 30 of those years...think I've given it enough of a chance??? Besides, I have been more into RPG's than FPS's (I have Halo 2, but also know I kinda suck at it). Look at it this way...I'm not gone yet. I may still be around when Halo 3 hits. You have my Xbox live name, so once X360 hits, ya might as well message me. Then you at least have Halo 2 to kill me with, over and over again.

plugs are different and if u can sort that problem out im sure registering an american xbox in new zeland will not work
and if it does the games will have to be from the US coz they use a different format for games in different places of the world
trust me i tried buying games in the uk for a cheaper price the guys in the EB and about 6 other stores told me they wouldnt work

yea but it will be a few months after the 360 drop that Xecuter(who i think will have the first 360 chip) cracks the bios...then we have to wait for the chips to be made......

I got word from my store today that iZ making me even more happy...although they will be closing at their usual time (9pm) on 11/21, they will re-open at 12:01am on 11/22, so I will be playing w/ my new x360 long before the sun ever actually rises on 11/22.

Technically speaking, since it is 1:01pm PST right now, I have exactly 6 days, 11 hours until I walk into the store to pick up my $432.99 (damn them taxes) cardboard box (w/ the "other" stuff it contains) as my store will be opening (for 4 hours) at 12:01am PST in the middle of the night between Monday and Tuesday (but still officially Tuesday, so microsquish can't do anything against them legally)...so much for sleeping that night - as if I'll want to. :p

As Chinese philosophy goes, the good and bad are two sides of the same "coin"...thus ying & yang...so we will start with the bad news. As some of you may know, yet many may not, microsquish has (as expected) manufacturered a much lower number of X360 units than expected, so a great many of you out there, even those who have fully pre-paid for their systems, will NOT be receiving them on Nov. 22. The good news, for which I am not a part of, is that those lucky enough to have pre-ordered their systems way back in May will get theirs. Anyone after that time will be waiting, including myself...although not by much. I will (hopefully) be receiving mine in the second (or third, at the latest) shipment. Look at it this way everyone...at least you WILL still be getting it before the PS3...even if ya gotZ ta wait a lil extra time.
