Rare has exposed that some of the features originally planned for Perfect Dark Zero have had to be removed or downgraded to get the game ready for the Xbox 360 launch

According to an article in the November issue of Edge magazine the fifty-player online multiplayer mode that was promised for Perfect Dark Zero has now been scaled down to only 32. The DataDyne TV mode which would have allowed players to watch games and upload your best matches has also been removed from the game. However these lost features could possibly be added later via a download over Xbox Live, but Rare are not promising anything yet.

ya I was reading that the other day too. I really hope they are right. It would be awsome and it would really make the game to play fifty-player online multiplayer mode and The DataDyne TV mode which would have allowed players to watch games and upload your best matches.

Man, 32 players is fine by me. Losing that replay mode though, that kinda sucks, would've been very cool to be able to watch "pro's" at work.

i think it sounds cool as long as you could later download it from xbox live

I guess five years just isn't enough time to develop a game. I could care less about the tv mode, really. While 50 players was cool, I guess I can live with 32.

Rare will delay it again, just watch. They delay there games all the time. Just look at Conker it took them years to get it out on Xbox.

Just put that s*** on there and get it done by Christmas. Can you do that Rare? You've only had 3 years since the game debuted for the Gamecube.

Not released, but it was originally being designed as a Gamecube title (before wads of cash stepped in)

......uh..........you mean the 64? Stop talking like their corporate leader dude. I personally will be happy with 32 players....unless the arena is absolutely huge 52 players is way too many for one game.

50 players would have been cool, but 32 players if you think about it is twice as many as we get in a Halo 2 online game!
