This is Contest headquarters for the XBA Forums contest, ESCAPED!! Check here for all the tools you need to crack the code, and claim your prize!! This contest is open to ALL current XBA members excluding current staff. ALL others are welcome. Check back for details. Contest will commence Friday, October 7, 2005.

Escaped Contest Rules and Directions

The XboxAddict has escaped the asylum and it's your job to meet up with him and show him (and us) the sites in your area!! Every Friday in October, the location of a new site will be posted (along with a .pdf with his image for you to print) for you and our buddy to visit. Take a picture of you and the XboxAddict and post it in the designated thread by the Thursday of the following week for your entry into the contest. Each week the entries will be judged by XboxAddict Staff members, and the top 3 point-getters for the week will be posted by the Monday after submission.

Rules:

One entry per person for the week (Thread will close Thursday @10pm EST)
NO PHOTOSHOP or any photomanipulation (entries are judged on creativity)
Entries must be in good taste (anything considered to be in poor taste will be removed without notice, and will disqualify you from the contest)
ALL are eligble, excluding current staff

1st place - 256mb mp3/jump drive combo
2nd place - Psychonauts prize pak

I'm going to provide a picture of the Crazy Guy (a.k.a. the XboxAddict) in PDF format. Print the picture, go to the place you're told to in that weeks contest thread, take a picture of yourself holding the picture of the crazy guy, and post that picture in the contest thread. Dos that make sense? You have to have a picture of you holding it, you can't just photoshop something.

Ever hear of a scanner? go buy a 12 exposure disposable camera, process the film, and scan it in. You have a whole week to do it. Borrow a buddies.

The winner is decided by staff voting. If you don't want your face on the net, then don't take a picture with your face showing. You just have to be in the picture.
