Now that we all now that the 360 will come in two diffrent packages and what contents will be coming in those packages what drives you the none cheap 360 buyers to get the premium package o ya and i did screw up on the poll at the top it should say why are u getting the 400 dollar pack

I was unaware of a Premium package. I know there is the Xbox 360 for $399 and the Xbox 360 Core for $299.

My answer is both A & B why I'm getting the Xbox 360.

EDIT: Your Poll is alittle messed up.
You ask the question "Why are you buying the 300 dollar pack?"
Yet the responses are geared towards why I would buy the 400 dollar pack. Like with the last responses " Or I'm no fun and I'm getting the 300 dollar package" ... see the problem, it's saying I'm no fun, so I'm getting the 300 dollar pack, but the question is why are you getting the 300 dollar pack. So I think you need to change the question to why you are getting the 400 dollar pack.

The hard drive alone is $129.99 here. The accesories are an awesome bonus.

Ya! It doesn't make sense to buy the hard drive seperately.

I want the hard drive 'cause i hate memory cards. I tend to lose then hence lose my entire game files.

And the wireless controller. Who would want cords?

I'd rather have a controller with cords. I hate fooling around with the batteries.

I used to be with you on that one...but now my 360 is going to be behind me, and I have enough cables running to my chair for the keyboard, mouse and tablet.

I'm getting the 'premium' package because no other package exists in my mind.

Are there another size of HD rather than just 20 GB?

Are there another size of HD rather than just 20 GB?

You won't need more than that since very few games will ever support the HD. It is just a gigantic memory card. One that is prone to failure, erasing all your hard-earned gaming goodness.

Unless, of course, you want to be MS's patsy and have a HD full of movie previews and spam.

To quit being a smarty, and answer your question, there are rumors of a 40GB drive coming out 2nd quarter next year. I wouldn't be surprised to see bundles with games for the Core buyers, either.

my reasoning is that getting the "core system" is just asking to get ripped off. the $400 deal is a great bargain.

I'm one of the most unorganized people I know.

I can no longer see the floor in my room.

My daily excuse for not having homework is that I did it and lost it.

The worst part is it's true.

Once I misplaced 600 dollars.

Also,I misplaced my dog for two days.

Do you see why I need the hard drive?

Yeh, right,
With my luck the card would "Levitate" somewhere in the fourth dimension.

Either swing big, or don't swing at all.

The way I see it, you might as well go all out and get the premium package. It comes with the DVD remote, the hard drive, the component cables and a couple of other things. For the asking price, it's the better deal as opposed to buying everything seperately.
You might as well work the extra hours, mow the extra lawns, sell the extra dope or do whatever you do for the extra money because you might think that you'll save money buy getting the core package when it comes out. But eventually, you'll want the hard drive or something like that.
Might as well do it right, the first time.

It would be silly not to get the premium package. You'll end up buying all the accessories anyways, and it'll end up costing you way more!
