just wondering if anyone here was picking this up? i'm seriously thinking about getting it, that way i can start playing live again.

I played the demo, it was fun. I didn't like how the grass went through the cars though.

I had a lot of fun with the demo. To be honest, if there are connection problems as bad as the demo, then all I can say is I've played enough RS Xbox titles to have my fair share of XBL bugs thank you very much. But the gameplay, suicide bombing is tons of fun, the vehicle combat is pretty good too, not much I can knock on really. I really wanna buy it but I'm waiting at least 3 days after, read some forums and such, and if there are no widespread alarming issues like Lockdown has, then oh yes, most defintely getting it.

i started playin battlefield 1942 on pc like back in 2002 so i have to get this lol. but yeah bf2 should be sweet, i have battlefield 2 for pc but i can't use my gaming pc again til december. :(

I've never tried any of these games... If the graphics are good and It has good online and single player gameplay, I'll rent it :) REPORT BACK when you get it!

Abso-freakin'lutely. I can't remember a game that I have had this much replay value out of ONE map on a demo disk. This is the only game I will be playing for quite a while and I have been gaming since the start of video gaming. ( Yes I am that old )

Where and how do you pick up the BF2 xbox demo? Does it cost money?. The local EB games had no idea what I was talking about. Where do I go?

Anyone know where you can walk in off the street and get one? Can the Official Xbox magazine be purchased with the demo or is that an old issue?

IMO, if you wanna buy a 360 I would not buy another single xbox game again. Between now and then and how the value of xbox is gonna drop, I say just RENT RENT RENT! THERE ARE A TON OF SWEET XBOX GAMES OUT this month!! There are so many I want so I am just gonna rent them all as much as I can. Defintlatey I need to grab a copy of BF2 to rent :D

I totally agree. I just wanted the demo to tide me over while I wait for 360. Every store I go into looks at me like I am crazy. Maybe I will just rent the whole game as you said.
