as much as i love 45 minutes of cutscenes every 10 minutes of gameplay, im gonna have to say the splinter cell series grabs mgs and stomps its head in the ground with a shovel. I actually like to PLAY my games, not watch them.

I liked the original and pandoras online features but not offline. I liked chaos theory's offline but not online, so hopefully they can combine what made me like them.

Truly Splinter Cell was great back in 2003 but now, even is just getting better, i will just pass it....cause the series just keep coming...in the mold of Resident Evil series. I want something original.

Ubi has a history of just mildly tweaking things then re0releasing it as an all new game (see "Rainbow SIx: Black Arrow). Hopefully this will be beyond simple graphical upgrades and perhaps we can get something truly revolutionary.

I'd also like to see the online mode be a bit more user friendly. Firstly, I'd like to see it be 3v3. I think 2v2 sucks personally because of the hell I reaped on other poor gamers when they were stuck with me as there only teammate. Seriously, I tried the multiplayer a couple of months after it came out and it seemd like everything played out quite run of the mill. Everyone knew exactly what to do but me. So beyond pissing off my poor partner who couldn't maintain radio silence because he had to coach me, it seemed to me that to the players as well it had all become horribly redundant.

I'd like to see a mode with less cut and dry objectives and more freedom to tackle objectives on ways beyond just "what path do I take?". The MP as good as the concept is seems to burn out fast.

I’ll rent it like I rent every game that wears out its usefulness after 2 weeks.
