Is is worth buying...

I have been pretty dissappointed in the last few years with FIFA. Particularly with AI on Defense and your own teams AI on Offense and a few other quirks... I'd like to rent it, but none of the places around here have it yet...

Opinions and thoughts anyone..

Get Pro Evolution Soccer mate. Or Winning Eleven as I believe it is in the US and Japan. It's a much, much better, more realistic, game series. Naturally FIFA sells more due to EA marketing, but PES is much more popular with european football fans that like a truly good game of football.

Pro Evo did pretty well. It seems like your safest bet like Jaiyan mentioned.

I wouldn't buy Fifa 2006 cause I've already bought it, lol :cry:. It's a nice game but the gameplay is just not like it was in the old days, the graphics are cool BUT there's a major bug that makes the graphics choppy every now and then when you're playing, and it's really no fun :mad:

You're insane. The graphics are great when I play my copy and never choppy at all. The gameplay is more realistic than most games and there is a ton to the franchise mode. If you want fancy moves and that then get a streetball game but if you want a more realistic feel get this. It's a great game.
