When will the Xbox 360 be available?

How much will the Xbox 360 cost and will it be available in different hardware bundles? The Xbox 360 will be available in Premium Pack (US $399) and Core System bundles (US $299).
Which Xbox 360 configuration should I buy?
If you wish to play online, play original Xbox games or store content such as music or images, buy the Xbox 360 Premium Pack, as it comes with a bundled hard drive.
If you don’t wish to play online, download content from Xbox Live or play original Xbox games, the Xbox 360 Core System is a good way to start, but you will need to buy a Memory Unit (US $39.99) to save game progress.
Can I buy the Xbox 360 hard drive separately?
Yes. Core System buyers can buy the hard drive separately for US $99.99.

Can I play online using the Xbox 360 and how much will it cost?
Yes. You will be able to play games online with an Xbox Live Gold or Premium Gold subscription.

Yes. Existing Xbox Live subscribers will enjoy Gold Level service until their current subscriptions expire.
What kind of internet connection will I need to play games over Xbox Live?
You will need a broadband internet connection to play games over Xbox Live.
Will I be able to play original Xbox games on the Xbox 360?
Yes, as long as you have the Xbox 360 hard drive.
Will I be able to use my original Xbox peripherals and cables with the Xbox 360? No. Original Xbox peripherals and cables will not be compatible with the Xbox 360.
Will I be able to play DVDs and CDs on the Xbox 360?
Yes. You will be able to play DVDs and CDs on the Xbox 360 console straight out of the box, and those with hard drives will be able to rip CDs straight to the hard drive.
Do I have to have an high-definition TV set to play the Xbox 360?
No. All Xbox 360 games will be playable on a standard TV set.
Will I be able to connect my PC to the Xbox 360?
Yes. It will be possible to connect a Windows XP PC to the Xbox 360 using a cable or WiFi adapter.
