I am going to get mine at Wal-Mart. They've been great to us with their advertising, so I I feel the need to reciprocate.

I am getting my xbox360 from EBgames in wisconson. So because it's a small little town I am getting it from I might get mines on launch date so I can't wait.

i pre-ordered mine at gamestop but i won't get mine until the second shipment. so i will just go to walmart and get it then get my money back at gamestop. if i don't get it at walmart i still have it preordered, so it is really a win/win situation

I will eventually get mine from Walmart...being that I am there once a week and buy most of my electronics from them anyhow.

could not have said it better man
but im going ther for these reasons:-

- i need to buy my wireless connection

- they give u 2 years of extra warrenty for only $30 (which we will need coiz we gonna buy the first batch of the xbox)

- they will have my games (Halo Triple Pack) and i wont have to fight over them it wont be like EB were everyone in there wants a god damn 360

lots of walmart buyers ( i preordered mine from walmart.com) but i heard that walmart doesnt have an extended warrenty product replacement plan like best buy does, is that true??? i kind of want to see if i can get one at best buy for their 2 or 3 year product replacement plan...never can be too safe...does walmart have something like this? i've never bought any major purchases from them before

Fred Meyer...it's a local chain in WA, OR, AK, and in a couple other States. They have an electronics department and they don't take pre-orders. I plan on heading their very early to stand in line...we'll see :)

This is ridiculous. I preordered months ago at EB then I go in the other day and they tell me I'm on the 2nd shipment. Nobody in the greater Jacksonville area has anymore. I guess the people with lives (gf's, jobs, don't live with their parents) who prefered not to wait in line have to wait a while. I just bought some games for the XBox and they'll hopefully keep me distracted for a while.
