Don't be a coretard, man! The extra accessories are well worth the 100 extra dollars. For $100 you get:
A wireless controller instead of the wired one that comes with the core model
A headset for Xbox Live play
A 20gb hard drive (over 300 times the storage of the cheap little memory card!)
A free media remote
And some ethernet wire

Plus you're going to have to spend $40 on a memory card if you buy the core model anyways. Why not spend $60 more for 300 times the storage and some extra goodies aswell?

If you'v eknown for a while, and you'r eexcited, that you shoul dprobably already know that the 20GB hdd that comes with the $399 bundle is worth $100 (or the difference between $399 and $299). Plus, you get a wireless controller, media remote, headset, live membership, etc. If you can afford the $399, buy the $399, as its a MUCH better deal.

If you can't afford it, then wait until you can, because its just NOT WORTH IT to buy the $299.
