Halo 3 Pre-orders?

A buddy of mine took a picture of a sign at a Syracuse area EB that says "Halo 3 Coming 2006 - Pre-order yours today" (I have the picture saved on my PC but am not sure how to post it).

Does anyone know if stores are actually taking pre-orders for Halo 3 already? :rofl:

Obviously there is going to be a Halo 3 but I don't understand why all these stores are taking pre-orders on it. Bungie hasn't annouced anything regarding it. Damn their evil, money grabbing ways!

yeah they are just selling pre-orders. Officially there is no Halo3 in the works, but everyone is so sure that there will be that they are willing to put money on it.
