Ok, this is a bug thread. There are bound to be some. We all know that Microsoft views our forums on a regular basis, so this may help them get some of the bugs out of the system.

My controllers doesnt vibrate (my 360 system said vibration enabled). Also my madden 06 controller stop responsing in most 4th quarter games and forced me to shutdown. I only own Madden 06 for now but would like to know if anyone has this same plm with Madden 06 or any other 360 games?

My xbox360 as far as I know plays 360 games easily, only one i got is PD0. But when I play halo2 I cant go through the game without it crashing, also i cant play only on halo2 but i can with PD0

I have found whats wrong with the plms I had lately. I went to Target to replace my Madden '06 for different game title and guess what? My two controullers' vibration works on another game title! I played it more than 3 hrs and seemly no problems so far. Madden '06 is a bad game. Very disappointed. Looking forward for ESPN NFL 2k6 on 360. Good thing I didn't lose any money and thank god my XBOX 360 is ok! :hardcore:

My iPod has 1000+ songs on it, every single one is Legit, either from CD or D/L from iTunes. However, when I plug my iPod into my 360, it only recognizes about 550 songs, and even then, I can only play about half of those. I called tech support, and they recommended I down load a conversion tool from xbox.com to convert all my music to a Xbox360 compatible format.

Also, occasionally my Friends list is not accurate, in that I know someone is logged into XboxLive (confirmation by phone), but they are showing as offline on my list. If I restart my Xbox360, then the list is correct.

I've also had some difficulties connecting to chat sessions.

I've had no problems whatsoever (knocking on wood) and it has pretty much been running since I hooked it up.

Perhaps we should make another sticky for people to report their lack of bugs?

Got another issue with XBOX 360... I played NBA 2k6 for more than 10 hours and some of the controller buttons does not reponse... this is bit werid and hard to tell which is causing plm the game or the system. Madden '06 was the same thing earlier and now this. Any body with NBA 2k6 does the same plm as mine?

Edited: I meant I played longer on NBA 2k6 (1 on 1 match) sometime when the oppent come to give you the ball for you to start the game.. the oppent just held on the ball for longer period of times and wouldn't give you the ball for more than 10 mins then finally he does! This sometime happen when I held the ball and suppose to give the ball to my oppent and controller does not reponse so had to wait for 10 mins for it to give the ball to him and play. GRRRR I hate when this happen!

Are you using the wireless controller? If so, are the Batteries still good? That is a lot of play time for one set of batteries. Try changing them.

I did switched to my wired controller still the same results. I called XBOX this morning and explained it all to them and they said Madden '06 and NBA 2k6 are on their list with the problems from other users as well. Also I tested out my DVD movie playing on my 360 and it does not play smooth like it did on my DVD player. Bunch of glitches. So they told me to send all of them to them and they will check them out for me and get it fix proper. They are sending a empty box for me to mail them which I don't have to pay for shipping. I am going to be disappointed for not playing XBOX 360 for a week or two. :cry:

Sometimes when I'm playing halo 2, the trees and stuff from backwash stay on my tv when i'm playing a different level, like lockout. If this happens to anybody, don't do what I did and freak out thinking you burned the level into your tv. A restart fixes it.

While waiting for them to send a empty box to me... I tested out my XBOX 360 by standing the console up (vertical) and DVDs and the game played perfectly fine. Its bit confusing. I still prefer XBOX 360 to check it to make sure that I dont have a bad one.

PS: Does anyone's xbox 360 glitches while theirs console laying horizonal? Playing DVDs?

You know that ESPN NFL 2K6 isn't comming out, don't you. EA bought the rights to the NFL, so Madden is the only legit NFL game around anymore. I don't care though, Madden has always been by choice, especially when it's was between Madden and 2K games, case 2K is a crap company....did anyone say Amped 3, yeah...thought so....

Ok, well I fixed my iPod problem. I do everything legit, I download my music direct from iTunes, and it comes in .m4p format which is a protected format. It's not enough to download the patch from the XBL Marketplace. In the end, I ended up downloading a (free) 3rd party program that lets me unprotect those files and neatly backs up the protected files to another directory on my computer, just in case something goes wrong. In the end, it replaces the protected files in your iTunes directory with the unprotected ones while keeping your original files in the afforementioned back-up directory. It's very neat and tidy and at the end of the day, everyone is payed up and happy.

I was told the same thing in other threads. I like 2ksports better because of First Person Mode (which realistic). Did you know that us, humans, are seeing as First Person in real life? If Madden add FP then I would sure be excitied about this.

While playing Halo 2 on my XBox 360 over XBox Live, the audio went out for a good 5 seconds or so...atleast 3 times.

Also, I lost all of my game saves for Need For Speed: Most Wanted for no reason. I restarted the Career Mode; however, I hope it doesn't do it again!

I was playing PD0 on Live for half hour periods before it froze, then one time when I turned on the 360 my tv looked blurry, I ignored it thinking my 360 was screwing up more, then my tv died and started showing wavy lines. Now that's all my tv will show. I think it might be related to the 360 screwing up somehow. I was wondering if anyone else had any similar problems.

my 360 froze up 1 time, and this morning when i started it, it took forever to get past the 360 logo, and when it finally did, I ended up on an error screen that said E 67!!!! I cant call customer support, when I try it, my fone starts making wierd noizes (It makes the same noize when you type a number that does not exist) I wrote them an Email, and Im currently waiting for those F*cktards to write me back

does anyone know what the E 67 error means?? the error only happened once, but now im kind of worried/pissed off since I havent even had the 360 for a week and im allready experiencing freeze ups and the E 67 error

I would highly doubt that your Xbox360 did that to your television. Your tv was probably ready to go, and it just happened that you were playing your 360 while it went.

Not to get off topic but being a tech for many years I know that there is no current going through the cables that plug into a television so there's no possible way that the 360 could break a TV. That's 100% fact

My "GUN" disc sometimes does not recognize my box as being a 360 system. I get a screen that says something along the lines of "play this game in a 360 console". No more than 2-3 reloads of the tray gets the game recognized and I'm able to play.

Thats my only bug that I've found. Other than that very minor problem, I am extremely happy about the new console! :hump:

What the hell? Apparently sending a message to all your friends wishing them a merry Christmas is a no-no for the Xbox 360. I was checking off everyone who I wanted to receive the greeting and suddenly my Xbox 360 locks up. The controller isn't responding (even though its ring of light is on), the mini remote isn't responding, the freakin' console isn't responding.

P.S. Could it have something to do with my mp3 player plugged into one of the USB ports? If so, then that's retarded.

I opened mine this morning and got the E74 system error, says call microsoft for support.

I am extremely dissapointed now, all I wanted was to play my 360 this week (on vacation)and have been waiting for over a month with it wrapped up and now I can't use it :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

Nothing the microsoft can do for me now is going to make me happy, I may just return it and hold off until later next year.

Same problem it takes almost 3 minutes for me to get past my 360 logo when theres no game in it but with a game it works fine but if there isnt a game in there it takes a while but i have no error message

also i put in quake 4 and it says for me to insert into a xbox 360 console this leaves me in a state of wtf. but then if i open and close the disk tray it works.

these problems have made me break down and decide to spend 60 bucks on the extended warrenty i dont wanna be screwed if my 360 completly ****s up, explodes and or procides to hop up and down and do backflips under its own power.

I am using a 360 controler on my PC with windows XP. Every time I try to play FFXI with the controler plugged in it causes the game to crash. I unpluged the controler to make sure it wasnt something else and the game ran fine. I am guessing there must be a driver conflict I sure hope they fix this problem..

Ok I may have found the solution to problem with the 360 controler. SE admits there is a problem with direct input devices and they are looking into it. But I also use a proggram called Xfire and I found out that if you have Xfire running while using a Control pad it can cause this crash. So I tried using the controler without Xfire running and I didnt have any crashes. Ill keep you guys posted if this changes.

Did all you guys get the premium bundled with the free remote? I got a premium with no remote. I think it was batch 2 of production but I haven't had one problem with my console. Just curious, how many got the premium with the free remote pack-in??? I heard alot of those with the pack-in are the ones having problems. Also, have you downloaded the Xbox Live update? I think you have no choice and that you have to. It's supposed to fix alot of issues with freezing and such

Lost planet disks have been freezing up like crazzy so if yours is freezing up take it back and exchange it.

Can't hear other people talk in team sharp shooter.
Playing a game of terrorist hunt with Nth Turtle that he hosted, I can talk to him, but not his friend.
However in adversarial games, I can not speak or hear from anybody else. Can see them talking, but no audio from voice. Normal game audio is ok. Other games are ok, all my control pads work in other games.
Just Rainbow Six Vegas.

Tried the port forwarding trick, tried setting up a DMZ on my router for the 360, and making my 360 IP address a static address.

Nothing works.

Might take the game back, (got it as a gift, no receipt) trade it on for a different version.

The ligh on the back wouldn't even turn on to let me no that it wasn't connected. Right after that my wireless controller stopped conecting to my 360, I've pushed the connect button on the controller and 360 but it won't connect but my ghuitar controller does connect (thats the only wired controller I have for the 360). Also none of memory card slots work, I've plugged my memory card into both slots and the 360 acts like its not even there. I've plugged the memory card in a different 360 and it works can anyone shed any light on any of these problems please?

That's odd, unless someone else has a suggestion, hopefully var or someone can come in here and help. That's odd, but I do suggest you phone.
