I'm only talking about XBox...and I'm only talking about first party. Wired or Wireless doesn't apply here, I'm referring to the sheer feel...so:

What is your favorite controller of the three?

1. XBox DUKE
2. XBox S-Type
3. XBox 360 Controller

Choose, my brethren....

I've tried all three and so far the Duke was the best/most comfortable one I have tried. With the Duke I played Halo 1 with friends for 11 hours straight with no problems. Of course, I have only played with the Xbox 360 controllers on demo units and only for 5-10 minutes at a time.

The Xbox 360 one looks like its the best

I like the xbox 360 controller the best

The 360 in my opinion is the best "Now". I liked the "S" controller and even found no problem with the Duke controller. I just think the layout, size, weight, and responsevness of the 360 controller can't be touched...as of now. :D

I'm kind of gigantic, so I have huge hands, for me the Duke allowed me to avoid fatigue and cramping, but in terms of being great for gameplay, I've never felt a controller as precise and light and just overall reeking of quality like the 360.

The 360 controller is great... I picked that.

The Duke will be an all-time favorite of mine. The 360 controller is very nice, though.

Duke, hands down. as far as I've seen, every other controller is built for midgets or asians with really small hands. the duke fits my hands perfectly and i like the button layout. the black/white buttons are FAR more accessible on the duke then the controller S, on the S you had to move your whole thumb to hit them.

I was very surprised when right away I felt I liked the 360 controller better than anything else.

You know, I never thought I would say this, but, I actually like the 360 Controller better than the Duke. I've never liked the S-Type...but, the 360 controller is just different enough to fix the S-Type's weaknesses, IMO. I'm diggin' it...no hand cramps yet...I never had them with the Duke either, though...

360 controllers are the best one but not for those with huge hands. I have huge hands and its harder for me to reach the LB and RB buttons while holding it in different way and felt like its falling out of my hands. I just ingores LB and RB buttons so I can play it better. If those games requried LB and RB buttons then I would sucks at it. :bang:

The new 360 controller, hands down..

I'm another massive Duke fan that has found myself enjoying the 360 controller more than I ever thought I could. I'll always have a soft spot for the Duke, but those wireless 360 controllers are really well done and very comfortable. Placing the black and white buttons as secondary shoulder buttons is the icing on the cake.

From a practical standpoint it's the 360. From a nostalgic standpoint, I'll go with the Duke.

As for the Controller-S, I only bought one of those for fighting games or those that require fierce button pushing (the rounded buttons on the Duke aren't really suited for that). It's my least favorite of the three by far.

I actually liked the size S controller for the Xbox. Feels completely perfect.

i haven't played with the 360 controller, but out of the S and the Duke, i like S the best :)

I like the Xbox 360 controller the most, it feels great, I just keep trying to press the start button down low or over on the left hand side of the controller, need to get used to that. The Duke's my second favorite (although it feels weird now because it broke about a year ago and I got used to playing with the S). The S is also pretty nice, but it took me a while to get used to.

I'd say the 360 controller. Though I'd prefer it were a little bit wider. My middle fingers naturally want to extend out a little more behind the controller, but the battery container blocks them.

Shoulder pads definitely beat black+white buttons for most applications. I didn't have any trouble hitting the black/white, but it makes more sense to have 2 buttons for each index finger, and 5 + a thumbstick for your thumb, instead of 1 for each index finger, and 7 + thumbstick (counting thumbstick click-in). Gives you a lot more possible button combinations, since you certainly can't be ..say, holding down white + x.

Haven't tried the 360 controller either :crying:

Only used the Duke once or twice at a friends house, so it's the S for me.

360 by far. :)
