Hey has anyone had problems with their wireless controllers? i tried bringing it over to my friends house for some multiplayer call of duty but it didn't connect. But then i brought it home again and it didn't even conect with my own xbox 360... So i brought it back to the store and they gave me a brand new 360 wireless controller and it still didn't connect to my xbox 360... I don't want to go back and get another one if it could be a problem with the system itself. I know the remote is still working fine tho. I'm not sure if they run on the same signals.
Any help would be appreciated

click the button on the front of the 360 console... which is to the right of hte memory slots... when the ring of light is spinning around click the button on the top of the controller... it will then connect to that system. There after it will always look for that system. so if you want to connect to a new system you push the button on the front of the system and then the button on top of the controller.....
Good luck

wow hey thank you sir!
I don't know if that was common knowledge or not but non of my 3 friends with 360s knew, so i'm sure lots of people will be learn from that.
Thanks again!

Yeah I'm not sure how "known" this info is...
But I went to Montana to visit my best friend for a week and when I turned my controller on I was like "damn it's not connecting" then luckily it hit me quick.. I was like "ohhh yeah I remember the first time connecting my controller to the console I had to hit that button on it".
Anyways happy gaming
