How can this be?

I have an HD TV in my living room used for my 360 and a 36" inch Sharp tube with an S-Video jack in the rec room. The 360 looks better on my 36 than on my HD! I wonder if it's because it's such a big tube tv. Everyone says it looks better as well. What do you guys think? Is HD that much better than going through S-Video? I mean the picture on my tube is outstanding but on my HD it looks good but not great. Everything is hooked up and the cable on the 360 is set to HD when I have it connected to my HD. I will submit some pics so you can be the judge. I just don't get it

On Console Setting in the 360's main meny, did you change the setting to 720p or 1080i?

I had the same problem on my Xbox. When I would plug it into my 62" downstairs, it looked pretty good in HD, but on my 34" NON HD upstairs, it looked better!

Figured out, Pitt4Ever is correct, you need to change the settings in your Dashboard. I don't know how it works for a 360, but on the Xbox it's just in your video settings. I changed mine to 1080i, (What my 62" is), and the picture is outstanding! I only own one game that is 1080i though... ATV vs. MX Unleashed!
