Demonik Cancelled

In Majesco's quarterly financial conference call, company execs confirmed that they have indeed cancelled both Taxi Driver and Demonik. Both games were announced during last May's E3 but have now fallen victim to Majesco's financial problems and its switch to publishing handheld and value priced titles. Taxi Driver was supposed to be based on the classic Martin Scorsese-directed crime film and was to be developed by Papaya Studio. Demonik was to be a horror action game from developer Terminal Reality based on concepts created by horror writer Clive Barker.

I'm sure someone will snatch up the IP quickly.

It didn't look that great to me anyways. No loss.

i really thought Majesco would become one of the big developers, but after Advent Rising sucking and Psychonauts not selling well, i can see they won't be able to live up to their ambitious agenda. I hope they don't cancel The Darkness

This game actually looked pretty decent to me, seemed like it was gonna be a great rental at the least. Well, what a shame
