I really like this game on the xbox. The whole earning medals offline thing for the 360 version is a bit of a turn off though. They're harder to get online, and more fun. I've hardly touched the single player mode. It's all about the online aspect.

Well... it's a topic for debate really.

The PC version offers the typical PC precision when it comes to mouse/keyboard control, more players (up to 64), more vehicles and wepons, and the commander mode which is sweet. It also allows the medic class to revice downed players, which is a nice advantage.

The Xbox version (I'm going to assume some similarities with the 360 version, but keep in mind no one has played it yet, so there are some assupmtions) has better voice support and a little bit more of an arcade-ish feel, but is still a strong shooter. You also don't need an $800.00 PC to play it. I have both and enjoyed both equally.

In fact, I'm installing the new expansion pack for the PC version as I type. I would still be playing BF:MC for Xbox if it was backwards compat.

I play both. Like "Yall" stated, they both have their advantages, and both great games!

i guess ill get this then. i played BF1942 a bit, but i thought the game felt kind of weird, so a more arcady version would be nice.

I so loved this game on xbox and dearly miss it. I just can't understand as to why they want to restrict it to 24 players!?!? The other gripe I have with this game is the daft red triangles above their heads...is this really neccessary and was it in the PC version?

No. The Xbox version was WAY too easy. It gave away enemy positions, because if you even LOOKED in the direction of an enemy, they lit up.

On the PC version, you have to shoot at, or hit, the enemy for his name to show up. And there are no triangles... just names.
