....green?....

Ok, my best mate just got a second hand x-box. we've seen it playing at a mates house and it works fine, but when he connects it to his TV everything runs perfectly... apart from the fact that everything- and I mean EVERYTHING- is green!

I've fiddled with the TV settings.

I've checked the equiptment.

His TV is fine- nothing else goes green.

So...I guess I'm stumped... Any ideas?

The only other thing I can think of is that the connection lead he got to go between the TV and the x-box isn't the standard AV one, its another one. would an AV lead solve the problem?

Nope.... turns out I'm just an idiot.

My mate's TV set up is different to mine, and I plugged the damn thing into his VCR- which is broken and makes everything look green when he records stuff.

Should have figured it out earlier.... Sorry.

thats pretty funny. a problem like that woulnt have been a prob with the xbox, an you sai u checked all the connections so the only likely problem would have been a faulty A/V cable.
