I will never pre-order a Halo game again. There is no point. You are gaurenteed to get one on launch date.

I won't pre-order...and I likely will not purchase a "Limited Edition" either... I'll definately buy a copy...this way I'll know whether or not to commit suicide or not... hehe...jk. I'm actually far more excited about the new Ghost Recon than I am about Halo 3.

its not going to be in short supply.
ill buy it on launch day, and prob love it, as i did halo 2. but no need to pre order.
I will not preorder it, but I will probably still end up buying it. Even if it doesn't live up to the standards that halo 1 set, it will probably still be the best fps on the 360. I'm not going to be losing any sleep over halo 3 like we all probably did for halo 2 though.

Exactly...I'm not going to head over to my local game retailer at midnight, during the work week (or weekend, for that matter) just so I can be the first ones to get my copy. Fortunately, though, I won Halo 2 from a Halo 1 competition the last time...I even have my picture hanging up in the store. So, I can proudly say that I never bought Halo 2 :D

PRE-ORDER!?!?!?! WTF!! who in the world is going to pre-order? when the title isn't even for sure. people at eb games and gamestop, right now, are more than likely to take those five bucks..... and stick it in their pocket. and what's the point like thatdude said, "the game wont be in short supply." i agree 100%. It's not even a month old.. there was 1-2 year old thread brought back about a week ago... Plus i haven't seen this before and halo 3 is gonna flopzilla, but i'll still buy it if it ever comes out

pre-order? nah.
i'll get a copy for sure. but it'll have to buy a 360 as well. hopefully the price drops on the console by the time the game comes out. and at the rate things are going now,... i'm guessing i have lotsa time.

why would you pre-order after what happened to Halo 2? They delayed shipments of the games because it wasn't ready. People ended up waiting for months or even years(knew a guy who pre-ordered it a year before it came out). Just save your 5 bucks until it comes out or blow it all on bubble gum.

Yah, I ordered it about 3 months before it came out, and then waited hours at the midnight line to get it.. Even though I loved the halo2 multiplayer, now that I look back I don't think it was worth it..
