Great... I got my 360 and now I have no screen to view it on

My VGA box I bought last year from www.depot4u.com (DONT BUY FROM THERE) broke. The switch blew and some cables messed up. I don't care about fixing it. This box was always a problem. When I played xbox, I used to get lines through the monitor. And no, it wasn't the monitor, or the xbox (both were brand new).

I need a new VGA box. Something that will let me switch my 360 on to HI-Def with my monitor. I hear that the computer monitors are HD, right?

So I need something cheap, and something that does the job. Please help me :(

*cough* Shaded *cough*

Hey old timer ;)

I was thinking about that.... but then I need to unhook it from my PC everytime I want to play :nightmare

Maybe it's the quickest and easiest route though? :crying:

Caddy, are you just looking for a VGA switcher? Because most office supply stores still carry them.

Here's one for $9.00, if that's what you are looking for.

No, not quite, but close. I need to be able to plug the Xbox 360 Video/Audio cords into the "VGA box", then, one VGA wire goes from the VGA Box to the computer. Then the monitor VGA cable goes into the box....

(look at pic below)

Ah... so it has to convert composite input to vga output, eh? I think this is going to be more expensive than getting the VGA cable that works with the XBox, and a regular VGA splitter, like the link above.

Well, even though it's a pain in the ass, I might get the official 360 HD VGA adapter. That would mean that I always need to switch wires when I decide to play from the 360 to the PC.

I got a MadCats adapter. It is amazing :) Although, now when even I want to go from PC to Xbox 360, I need to unplug cables!!!

(I have Hi-Def now ) :)
